Black Friday Blog Hop: KINDLE FIRE and 23 Books!

The Black Friday Blog Hop is all about shopping tips. Uh, but...

I don't shop!

Not even for groceries. Not if I can help it. Online shopping is my friend—parking is always great, comparison shopping takes minutes instead of hours, there are no long lines, and best of all, I can...

shop in my jammies.

So this blog is for all you who would rather sleep in your nice comfy bed while everyone else is braving the elements and hostile forces (other shoppers) for those nifty Black Friday specials—the newspaper advertisements nearly filling my recycle bin.

My family members know if they don’t have an Amazon Wish List, they might get a polka-dotted zebra table cloth or some such a thing. Whatever I see that’s fast and cheap, I buy for them. Wish lists are great—pick something and send it to them. You know it’s something they want or can use, and won’t hide it in the attic except for when you come over. My relatives know they’d better pick something that’s eligible for Amazon Prime, too.

But mostly I buy books. Here’s a great deal for you: the print version of Faery Special Romances (a great Christmas gift for romance lovers from age 14 to 114) is now on sale at Amazon! Regularly priced at $13.45, it’s now on sale for only $2.38!!! That’s for a print book. And you can buy the Kindle version for just $1.99. Can’t go wrong there.

If you love Christmas stories, try Faery Merry Christmas—only 99¢ for the Kindle version. It’s a fun, feel-good story. The print version is available for $8.95.

Since Mr R gave me a Kindle last summer, I buy ebooks. Funny thing about ebooks and pricing—they can be really expensive and it’s a mystery why some publishers charge so much. Because I’m a readaholic, I love to find a great book at a bargain price.

That’s why my first western historical romance, Much Ado About Marshals, is only 99¢ on Kindle. If you want to buy it at Smashwords for 99¢, send a message to jacquierogers @ gmail.com (no spaces) and I’ll send you a coupon. The trade paperback version is absolutely gorgeous thanks to cover designer Deborah MacGillivray and cover model Kyle Walker. It’s also a great gift for romance or western readers. The price is $13.99, but for this blog hop, I’m offering a signed copy, personalized to the person you’re gifting, for the same price, $13.99, postage included.

Now, wouldn’t you like to win the
Kindle Fire?

Just comment and you’re entered, plus you could win an autographed copy of Much Ado About Marshals (or a Smashwords coupon for a free copy, if you prefer). Be sure to include your email address or you won't be entered into the drawings.

Where are the other 22 authors? Check out Cassandra Carr’s blog! Scroll down and you'll find links to all the authors' blogs.  Comment on each blog for a total of 23 chances to win that Kindle Fire, plus you can win other free books along the way!

Good luck, and Happy Shopping!

I'm glad you are part of the Blog Hop, you are a new author to me, it's great finding new ones ;) I will take advantage of your offer and will send you an email shortly for you western historical, thanks for that. Call me crazy, but I don't mind going out in the crowds, we've only been doing this for the last couple of years and we do find some very good deals, for myself and to give as gifts.

Great seeing as part of the Blog Hop. Here I am getting snuggled in my covers, having just braved the crowds close to 2 hours ago, yes am one of those crazy people that ventures out in the middle of the night, just to save some money ;) We only went to 1 store, so it wasn't too bad, did find some very good deals for myself and to give away as presents.

Welcome, Eva! And best of luck winning that Kindle Fire. :) I'll be checking my email intermittently throughout the day. We had a minor set-back (clogged kitchen drain--how glamorous) so our Thanksgiving meal was delayed. But I'll be here and I'll get the Smashwords coupon to you shortly. Thanks!

No one in my family will make up a wish list. It's so frustrating and you can not ask them what they want, they will just get mad if you do! Oy.

I do most of my shopping online. Must more easier then fighting all of Long Island.

Thanks for doing such a cool giveaway. I've never done a blog hop before. I'm finding new authors and blogs to follow.

You're always on these fantastic blog hops. I want to join in, too. :)

I'm like you. I don't do crowds and Black Friday tends to draw those fanatic shoppers who think of nothing of pushing of shoving. I much rather stay home, enjoy a cup of coffee and order online. lol

Take care and thanks for the chance to win. Loved your Much Ado about Marshals. I haven't had the chance to read your Faery Merry Christmas. :)

I love shopping. It's one of my favorite things to do. But I hate shopping on Black Friday...I guess I can't really say that I hate it because I've never shopped on Black Friday. I just know how crowded the mall gets this time of year so can only imagine the chaos today brings. I personally try to finish all of my shopping before Thanksgiving, I'm that person who starts shopping right after Christmas...Clearance baby! This way I can give more to everyone without spending more. But good luck to everyoen out there today battling for great deals :)

When the kids were little I did venture out to the stores on Friday to get the goodies. One year they wanted pound puppies. So I waited in line at the store that had advertised them. When the store opened we all rushed in and went in all directions. Of course I went to the toy section.
No puppies. Came to find out that the store put out 4 puppies in 4 different locations of the store. A lot of people were very upset and yelling at the service desk. They finally brought out the entire shipment, so we all got what we wanted. I don't shop on Friday anymore. lol
This year I found something else to do, blog hopping.

I had a horrible Black Friday shopping day! My daughters and I started out at 11:00 pm last night. Stood inline outside of Best Buy for 2 hrs. in freezing cold. got nothing. Then stood outside of Old Navy for another hour then waited in line hour and a half to check out. Kohl’s would have been 2 hrs. to get checked out. We gave up there. Bath & Body hour and a half check out time. So basically was out all night got home 930 this morning with hardly nothing and so tired and achy and cranky! UGH! Never again for me! I’m done being a Black Friday shopper except online.
